Welcome to my college English blog! My inaugural blog post today will center around one of my fellow classmates, Mrs. Arlene Reslin. Arlene is going back to school majoring in Radiology while also being the spectacular mother of 5 children and, also working full time as the customer service representitive at a cigar shop. While Arlene is indeed working on her radiology degree she also expressed to me the desrie to change her major to that of a nurse but, the only thing stopping her from pursuing that is the fact that shes does not believe in immunization. She also told me of her desire to be an accountant as she believes herself to be very good with math.
Arlene was born in New Jersey but , when she was young her family moved to Allentown where she spent all of her youth. Growing up Arlene attended William Allen High School of which she tells me she has many fond memories. Arlene considers having her first child at 17 and, also not going to college right out of high school to be one of her largest mistakes in life. I for one am glad that she decided to go back now as I am doing the same and, it is never to late!
In the small amount of free time that Arlene does have she enjoys shooting pool and, watching one of her favorite TV shows Power. Power is a Crime drama staring and produced by the famous rapper 50 Cent that delves into the illegal drug underground of New York City. When Arlene Finally gets to go on vacation she tells me he dream would be to go to Bora Bora and, She is taking the first step this winter by going on a cruise up the down the entire east coast! she does however believe that her family and, the time spent with them is the most important thing. On one final note I asked Arlene "If you could have a super power what would it be"? She responded with " I would really like the ability to go back in time and change some things that I did".
When I began my interview with Mrs. Arlene Reslin she told me that she was a very private person. I'm definitely glad she shared the information she did with me. Arlene Reslin you seem like a fantastic person!
